In the 1/8 finals of the challenger in Camper, Russian tennis player Andrey Kuznetsov will play against Damir Dzhumhur from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Damir Jumhur
29-year-old Jumhur surprised yesterday with his confident performance in the 1/16 final against Henry Laaksonen from Switzerland. Damir showed a very stable game on his serve, which allowed him to win the first set with a score of 6:4. In the second set, both tennis players already began to make more mistakes, but Damir turned out to be more stable and allowed Laaksonen to make only one break, but the Swiss lost the game twice on his serve and eventually lost the game with a score of 6:3. At the same time, the game itself passed quickly, it took only one hour and eleven minutes for Jumhur to win on the court.
Andrey Kuznetsov
30-year-old Kuznetsov, in turn, met our expectations yesterday and beat 17-year-old Frenchman Luc van Asch in two sets in the 1/16 finals. At the same time, the match for Andrey cannot be called simple, especially the first set. Kuznetsov immediately made a break and at some point even led 3-0, but when it came to serving for a set, the Russian tennis player faltered and allowed van Asch to recoup. As a result, the game reached a tie-break, where Kuznetsov's experience still allowed him to finish the set in his favor – 7:6 (7:5). In the second set, the Frenchman had already lost control of his game and eventually allowed Kuznetsov to make three breaks for the set. Kuznetsov was also not perfect, but at the same time Andrey lost a game only once on his serve, the final score in the game was 6:2 in favor of the Russian tennis player.
Forecast
Considering that Damir Djumhur played the match against Laaksonen so confidently, it is hard to believe that Kuznetsov will be able to present a sensation, and therefore we propose to bet on the Bosnian tennis player.
