Collins is a 28-year-old American tennis player, the 30th racket of the world. She started the season right away with TBSH in Melbourne. I warmed up in the matches against Dowlhide and Konyukh, giving them one game each on my serve, and then I had to show character to overcome Towson (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) and Mertens (4-6, 6-4, 6-4). Schwentek is a 20-year-old Polish tennis player, the 9th racket of the world. The season started with the tournament in Adelaide-1, where she reached the semifinals. At the Australian Open, she started with three easy victories, allowing her rivals (Dart, Peterson and Kasatkina) to make only one break each, and then won strong-willed victories over Kirstya (5-7, 6-3, 6-3) and Kanepi (4-6, 7-6, 6-3). In both of these confrontations, it is worth noting Igi's strong play at the end of the decisive game, when she managed to make three breaks in a row.

Personal meeting statistics

The only face-to-face meeting took place a year ago at the tournament in Adelaide-1. Then, in the 1/4 finals, Collins didn't do much, and she couldn't even finish the match: 2-6, 0-3.
