However, when there was a possibility of not falling in the playoffs, the Germans gathered and scored the maximum number of points in the next two matches. In the first of them we beat Norway (28-23), and in the second Brazil (29-25). As a result, Germany scored six points and left the group from the third place.
Egypt
Egypt performed more confidently and gave almost no opportunity to doubt that it will take one of the eight places in the first round of the playoffs. In the first game there was a confident victory over Portugal (37-31), in the second came the first defeat - 27:32 from Denmark, and the next three rounds ended with success: 33-29 with Japan, 27-22 with Sweden and 30-20 with Bahrain. The result: eight points scored and the second place.
