"Bears" did not have the best group stage, managing to reach the playoffs only after the fifth round, in which they defeated Marlian with a score of 2-0. Before that, the guys from Virtus.Pro they lost to Entropiq (0-2) and forZe (1-2), and beat Trident Clan (2-0) and K23 with the same result. As for the first round of the playoffs, the Bears faced forZe, for the second time in the current EPIC CIS League Spring 2021, and took revenge for the defeat in the group stage, winning with a mirror score of 2-1.
Akuma
Ah, well done, Akuma. Many predicted her absence from the group, and then buried her in the first match of the playoffs, the opponent in which was the second team of the world ranking - Natus Vincere. But Akuma negated all negative predictions about her results and made it to the semifinals of the top bracket. First, she managed to pass the group stage with a 3-1 record, and then defeated the "born to win" on two maps: 16-2 on Mirage and 16-10 on Dast 2.
Forecast
Akuma went from being one of the outsiders to a contender for the trophy. The Bears have won two in a row, but their performances still raise questions, especially against the background of the powerful game of the Ukrainian team Akuma. I bet that the Ukrainians will win at least one card.
