Description
Мохаммед Рабиу Альхассан родился 31 декабря 1989 года в Аккре. Карьеру начинал в столичном клубе "Либерти". В 2007 году она подписал с ней профессиональный контракт.Желая играть в Европе, Мохаммед поначалу ездил в аренды: "Химнастик", "Херес", "Сампдория", однако толком заиграть в этих клубах ему не удалось - в испанской Сегунде он провёл лишь три поединка, а в Серии А так шанса и не получил себя проявить. Летом 2010 года его контракт выкупил итальянский "Удинезе", но тут же отправил в аренду в "Эвиан". Несмотря на то, что за сезон он провёл лишь 10 матчей, французский клуб, вышедший в Лигу 1, договорился о переходе ганского полузащитника на постоянной основе. Мохаммед постепенно заслужил себе место в основном составе. В сезоне 2012/2013 "Эвиан" вышел в финал Кубка Франции, однако получить золотые медали Рабиу не посчастливилось, его команда проиграла финал "Бордо".
В начале следующего сезона Мохаммеда пожелала видеть в своих рядах краснодарская "Кубань" и чтобы осуществить этот трансфер российскому клубу пришлось перечислить 3 миллиона евро на счёт "Эвиана". В дебютном сезоне в российской Премьер-лиге он сыграл 10 матчей, забил 1 гол. Также по одному матчу он сыграл в национальном Кубке и групповом этапе Лиги Европы.
Играя за молодёжную сборную Ганы стал Чемпионом Мира 2009 года. В национальной сборной дебютировал в 2011 году. Отыграл 5 матчей на Кубке африканский наций в 2013 году, где его сборная осталась без наград (4-е место). Также поехал со сборной на чемпионат мира в Бразилию, где ганцы не вышли из группы (Рабиу сыграл 2 матча).
