В 2016-м году состоялся переход в "Университарио" и мгновенное чемпионство в перуанской Апертуре. Резвого крайнего защитника заметили в Бразилии, оформив трансфер. Впервые Трауко отправился за пределы Перу в 2017-м году, и по сей день выступает в Бразилии. Мигель активно борется за место на левом фланге обороны "Фламенго". Зато в последние два года в сборной Трауко стал твёрдым игроком старта. Мигель дебютировал в национальной команде ещё в 2009-м году, но за последние 2 года провёл 20 матчей, а до этого всего 2.
